Overview
Fox &
Hound Restaurant Group, based out of Wichita, Kansas, develops
and operates entertainment restaurants under the Fox and Hound®
and Bailey’s brand names. Our entertainment restaurants
combine a comfortable and inviting social gathering place,
full menu and full service bar, state-of-the art audio and
video systems for sports entertainment, traditional games
of skill such as pocket billiards, and a late-night
dining and entertainment alternative – all in a single
location. Our restaurants appeal to a broad range of guests
who can participate in any and all of the aspects of the “Fox
& Hound” experience.
Our entertainment
restaurants represent the evolution of two concepts –
Bailey’s Sports Grille and Fox and Hound® English
Pub and Grille. The original Fox and Hound® opened in
1994 and featured a centrally-located bar and primary dining
room, with wing rooms partitioned from the bar and dining
area. Fox and Hound® incorporated the tradition, spirit,
and sophistication of a contemporary social gathering place
with an elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere of finished wood,
polished brass, embroidered seating, etched glass, and deep
hunter green and burgundy colored walls.
The original Bailey’s
Sports Grille (“Baileys”) opened in 1989 and featured
a casual, relaxed atmosphere complete with full-service restaurant
and bar, extensive audio-visual package including satellite
and cable coverage of sporting events, and numerous games
of skill. The Bailey’s layout included a centrally located
bar and primary dining room, with games of skill around the
perimeter.
We believe
that our unique entertainment restaurant concept will enable
Fox & Hound Restaurant Group to distinguish itself as
the leader in this market segment. As of December
28, 2004 we owned and operated 75
entertainment restaurants with sales for the 2004
fiscal year of $149 million.
Fox &
Hound Restaurant Group trades on the Nasdaq Stock Market under
the ticker FOXX.
